Some of the topics in this presentation includes: what is MMIWG2S, what is two spirit, the red dress and the meaning, the meaning of the red hand print, direct in detail story of Vanessa's missing sister Pamela Holopainen and several other topics that are related to MMIWG2S.

My Race, My History, My Health presentation provides an hour long of truth sharing directly from Vanessa's personal family story that speaks about the history of Vanessa's grandfather who he himself was kep in a Sanitorium for over 7 years. Vanessa shares about the different impacts the medical system has had on her family directly such as sterilization of her mother and the medical racism that would kill her mother. You will also gain a perspective around triggers and working together. 

This presentation is a powerful truth sharing story of sisters Pamela and Vanessa who grew up together in a life of abuse, neglect, poverty and racism. Vanessa will share how the impacts of growing up led to the disappearance of her missing sister Pam. 

This presentation is sensitive in subject matter and can oftern trigger a personal responsse. Vanessa will also share how she has turned her life around and has become Resilient Inuk.
