Resilient Inuk Creations offers virtually presentations on several different discussion topics from direct personal experience.
How much do you know about Missing and Murdered Indigenous women, girls and two spirit? Would you like to have a better understanding directly from a family member and survivor? Would you like to be a part of change?
Some of the topics in this presentation includes: what is MMIWG2S, what is two spirit, the red dress and the meaning, the meaning of the red hand print, direct in detail story of Vanessa's missing sister Pamela Holopainen and several other topics that are related to MMIWG2S.
The Sharing Truths presentation provides an hour long of truth sharing directly from Vanessa's personal family story that will provide a better insight to some of todays Indigenous issues.
This presentation speaks about Sanitoriums and medical records obtained, E-Numbers and family trees for Inuit, resiliency, Indian Day School, Residential School, sterilization of Indigenous women, bill C-31, medical racism, her missing sister and some of the trauma faced in order to create change.
All presentations that are offered virtually can be offered in person as well. In person presentations often provided a more in depth perspective and can be more interactive which in return gives learners a better understanding. All in person sessions have a sharing circle at the end of the presentation.
